Ergonomics at the computer does not solve everything

Changing the ergonomics for workplaces was definitely a positive step to help people to prevent the RSI so common at one time.

The carpal tunnel syndrome seems to affect almost all the first positive steps have been taken to the culprit in this new epidemic. Many of my patients who work at computer terminals, even the "right ergonomic workplace" photo prominently on the back of theirID badge.

But these are the patients in my office on the conditions and back problems that are not helped by the ergonomics for computer workstations. It 's still possible to slow down and collapse in the workstation.

Just sit for long periods, creates shortened hamstrings and hip flexors. Lanky and the collapse will continue to stress and tension on the upper back and neck.

The only thing I have repeatedly seen that even the best ergonomics not seem to help is a bad attitude. I still see the memory systems of new and better that will help you remember to sit down, but less emphasis on creating a real lasting change.

Alarms can be disabled or ignored. One can only think of so often scolded or your attitude before you start to tune out. If you're preventing things such as stretching and strengthening activities to improve your posture, no one will remind you to sit upright and your> Workstation Ergonomics will be less of a factor in keeping you injury free and pain.
